About
Hričov Castle is a romantic ruin perched on a rocky spur of the Súľov Hills, towering above the village of Hričovské Podhradie.
Hričov Castle stands atop a striking rocky promontory that forms the northernmost tip of the Súľov Hills. This commanding position once offered sweeping views over the surrounding landscape and the valley below, making the castle an important stronghold in its heyday.
Although the castle survives today only as a ruin, it still cuts an impressive silhouette above the village of Hričovské Podhradie that lies directly at its foot. Visitors are rewarded not only with a strong sense of history but also with breathtaking panoramic views that stretch far across the surrounding countryside.
