About
Lieskovec Manor in Bratislava's Podunajské Biskupice district was built by Cardinal Jozef Batthyányi between 1779 and 1783 and today is used as a storage facility.
Lieskovec Manor, also referred to as Lieskovec Summer Palace, is located in the Podunajské Biskupice district of Bratislava, in the settlement of Lieskovec. It was commissioned by Cardinal Jozef Batthyányi and built between 1779 and 1783.
Following its construction, the manor stood as a centrepiece within a vast archiepiscopal garden. Regrettably, its interior decoration has not survived to the present day, and the building now serves merely as a storage facility — a stark contrast to its former grandeur.
