About

Rusovce Manor is a mid-19th-century neo-Gothic landmark currently undergoing a major restoration project scheduled for completion in 2029.

Rusovce Manor is one of the most distinctive neo-Gothic buildings in Bratislava. It is located in the Rusovce district, which falls administratively under the Bratislava V borough. The estate served from 1646 as the ancestral seat of the Rusovce branch of the noble Zichy family and underwent several structural modifications over the centuries.

The manor acquired its current appearance in the mid-19th century, when Count Emanuel Zichy-Ferraris commissioned its transformation into the neo-Gothic style. This reconstruction gave the building its definitive architectural character, which continues to draw admiration today. As of 2026, an extensive restoration of both the manor and its surrounding park is under way, with the entire project expected to be completed by 2029.
