Ledvice Castle is a ruined medieval spur fortress located around one and a half kilometres southeast of Vémyslice in the Znojmo district of South Moravia.
The ruins of Ledvice Castle are situated approximately one and a half kilometres to the southeast of the village of Vémyslice, in the Znojmo district of South Moravia. The fortification was built on a natural spur, a favoured location among medieval builders that offered inherent defensive advantages on three sides.
Today only modest remnants of the castle survive, yet the site continues to draw history enthusiasts and walkers who enjoy the peaceful South Moravian countryside. The evocative atmosphere of the place invites visitors to imagine the lives of those who once inhabited this long-vanished stronghold.
