Ľubovský kaštieľ

The ruins of the medieval Lhotice fortress in the village of Šádova Lhotice are an exceptional example of a fortified stronghold that resembled a small castle, though they remain on private property and can only be viewed from the outside.

Hrad Poustka was a meticulously planned but never-built Czechoslovak border fortress on the hill of Poustka near Trutnov, abandoned before construction began due to the political crisis of 1938.

The ruins of Pomezná (Markhausen), a medieval fortified residence dating from the fourteenth century, sit romantically on the shore of the Skalka reservoir near Cheb and have been a protected Czech cultural monument since 1963.
