The restored Renaissance manor house in Trstín is located approximately 20 km north-west of Trnava at the eastern foothills of the Small Carpathians.
In the village of Trstín, situated approximately twenty kilometres north-west of Trnava at the eastern foothills of the Small Carpathians, stands a manor house with a rich history. Originally conceived as a fortified Renaissance residence, the building underwent considerable changes over the centuries. Today it presents itself in a carefully restored form that has returned it to its former dignity.
The manor house in Trstín is a noteworthy example of Renaissance fortified architecture in western Slovakia. Thanks to its restoration, the building has once again become a valued landmark of the village and serves as a reminder of an era when fortified noble residences were an integral part of the Small Carpathian landscape.
