A restored Gothic-Renaissance manor house known as the Water Castle is located in the village of Hronsek on the left bank of the Hron River, about 10 km south of Banská Bystrica.
In the small village of Hronsek, situated on the left bank of the Hron River approximately ten kilometres south of Banská Bystrica, stands a remarkable structure combining Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements. Locals often refer to it as the Water Castle, a name that evokes its close connection with the surrounding riverside landscape.
