In the heart of the village of Divín, nestled at the foot of a hill crowned by castle ruins, stands the remarkable Renaissance manor house known as Zichy Castle. The building was erected on older medieval foundations and underwent numerous modifications over the centuries, yet it retained its characteristic fortified Renaissance appearance.
The manor has undergone a thorough restoration in recent times, restoring its dignified look and enabling its continued use. Thanks to its location at the base of the castle hill, the manor forms a unique historical ensemble together with the surrounding landscape and the ruins rising above it — a destination well worth visiting for any lover of cultural heritage.
