The village of Bačkov near Košice is home to the ruins of a manor house built on the site of an earlier medieval castle.
In the village of Bačkov, situated approximately 25 kilometres east of Košice, visitors can still admire the remains of a remarkable manor house. This structure was not built on empty ground — it rose upon the foundations of a much older castle that once stood on this very site.
