The reconstructed old château in Budimír stands on the site of a Late Gothic fortified manor house, northeast of Košice.
In the village of Budimír, situated to the northeast of Košice, stands a historic manor house known as the old château. The building has undergone extensive reconstruction and was erected on the site of a former Late Gothic noble residence, a small fortified manor. The location thus carries the imprint of medieval aristocratic settlement.
The current appearance of the château reflects the transformation of the original fortified noble structure into a more representative lordly seat of later periods. Thanks to its restoration, the building retains its historic character and remains a valuable architectural monument of the region.
