About
The almost completely destroyed ruins of a medieval castle sit on the Hrunok rise near the village of Kazimír, above the Izra stream close to the Slanské vrchy mountains.
On the southwestern edge of the village of Kazimír, on a rise known as Hrunok, lie the remains of a medieval castle. The site is situated near the Izra stream and close to the foothills of the Slanské vrchy mountains, giving it a picturesque natural setting.
Very little of the original castle complex has survived to the present day — the structure is almost entirely destroyed, and its ruins are little more than modest traces of a once-proud fortress. Despite this, the place retains a distinctive atmosphere that attracts history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
