In the village of Veľká Ida, situated south of Košice within the broad Košice Basin, stands a manor house with a rich and layered history. The building was originally constructed in the Renaissance style and later remodelled in the Baroque spirit, giving it a distinctive and compelling architectural character.
During its most prominent years, the manor served as the seat of the Csáky family, one of the notable noble houses of the Kingdom of Hungary.
