Zámok Veľké Uherce

The manor house in Veľké Uherce ranks among the most remarkable historical monuments of central Slovakia. Its origins reach back to the Middle Ages, when a fortified residence first stood on this site. Over the following centuries, the building underwent significant transformations — its Renaissance form eventually gave way to a romantic neo-Gothic style that lent the structure a distinctive and unmistakable character.
