Castles and chateaux — okres Bardejov

The Upper Gate with barbican in Bardejov stands on the site of a medieval castle that once guarded an important customs station.

Zborov is a picturesque castle ruin perched on a forested hill of the Ondavská vrchovina highlands above the village of Zborov in the Bardejov district.

The fortified Renaissance manor house in Hertník stands on the site of an earlier small castle, at the junction of the Čergov range and the Ondava Highlands south of Bardejov.
